A New Orleans native and French Quarter resident, Linda spent many years as a court reporter before beginning her real estate career in 1991. Her love of New Orleans’ historic properties and her vision for a real estate company specializing in personal service led her to found Green Fields Real Estate on January 1, 2000. Linda chose the name Green Fields because her last name, Gruenfeld, means green field. Linda brings a wealth of experience in sales, leasing, and property management, as well as a loyal following of clients, contractors, and vendors.

Kathy Harrell —Sales Associate

Kathy Harrell grew up in New Orleans and has a well rounded knowledge of the culture of this great city and the neighborhoods that make it so unique. This knowledge has enabled her to assist her clients in choosing the perfect neighborhood for their lifestyle. She has over 25 years of sales experience, including a successful career at The Times Picayune, working as an advertising executive which provided her with extensive sales and marketing training. In a challenging economy, she has had success with renovation and selling several of her own properties. She works as part of a team with Jon Huffman (see bio below). This enables them to combine their sales experience and knowledge of real estate to better serve their clients.

Jon Huffman has been developing property and renovating historic homes for much of his adult life, so it was perfectly natural for him to move into real estate sales as well.  Jon specializes in personal service, in finding just the right property for each client.  He also meticulously markets property for sale, seeing to it that homes are priced right and spiffed up to make them irrestistible to buyers.  Jon can also be seen every weekday hosting "Good Morning New Orleans" on ABC 26.  He never misses an opportunity to talk up New Orleans real estate on the air!

Lanea Primeaux—Sales and Leasing Associate

Prior to entering real estate in 1985, Lanea worked in the hospitality industry. Out of this experience grew an attention to detail that makes her one of the most respected real estate agents in the New Orleans area. She worked with Linda for many years before joining forces with her in 2000 as Green Fields Real Estate was established. Lanea shares Linda’s vision of customized, individual service and her love of New Orleans’ historic properties.  Lanea is currently in the process of renovating her French Quarter condominium.

Steven Teague—Sales Associate

Steven is a lifetime resident of New Orleans and has been with Green Fields since its inception.  He has also been a member of the Louisiana Air National Guard for 20 years, and has served in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.  A resident of Algiers, Steven works throughout the New Orleans area and specializes in Westbank property.
